Join us for our April Ballard Night Out event featuring some the coolest hand embroidery you've ever seen by Shana Hampton! We'll be providing the most interesting snacks and beverages your enjoyment!
Shanalee Hampton learned to embroider as a child but never took the skill very seriously until she realized she could use her powers for good. She has spent the last three years stitching art inspired by pop culture, literature, and sometimes spirituality. Her current series is inspired by her love for Japanese horror and mythology. She wants her embroidery hoops to provide you with a good laugh or maybe the pep talk you need. She lives in SE Portland with her husband, Shampton, where they make things every single day.
Ballard Night Out is presented by Push/Pull - supporting arts and cultural events in Ballard's 98107 & 98117 zip codes.
