They have written and illustrated several self-published mini-comics including Ufime(2018), Rabid Prince(2018)and Dark Planet(2016). Birch Pereira: I've been a freelance gigging upright and electric bassist in Seattle now for over a decade. I'm just as comfortable playing jazz in a hotel lobby to touring with a hip hop artist or a singer songwriter. Although I grew up a classical cellist, after a year in orchestra at the University of Washington I switched over to the jazz department and never looked back. Display artist Lee Harper: My foray into the world of photography began with taking daily snaps on my iPhone as a way to combat the rainy and dark Seattle winters. Next was my “gateway camera”, a point and shoot. From there it was game on and I was addicted! I am drawn to shape and texture, light and line. My photography is an eclectic blend of abstraction and concentration; representational photos of the natural world are counter-balanced by pictures with deliberately shifted perspectives and focal points. Last year, I completed the Summer Intensive Program at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Montana. I fell in love with the art of printing. Watching my art come to life is as enjoyable as taking photos. I have exhibited in several group shows at community art galleries, and individual shows at local coffee shops, bars, and restaurants in Seattle and Camano Island. ![]() Artist: Mark DuFresne www.markdufresne.com/markdufresne/Welcome.html Venue: Salmon Bay Eagles / 5216 20th Ave NW Event: January 17th 8pm - Midnight www.facebook.com/events/288048181822778/ Mark DuFresne is one of the premier talents in the region.
