In her role as VP of Community & Culture at Zillow Group, Rebekah finds that she is able to better focus her thoughts and attention in meetings by drawing. Through a medium of post-it notes, sharpies and highlighters, Rebekah has "taken notes" in hundreds of meetings. She has then created unique electrical-tape frames and matted these pieces into a whimsical collection of high-fidelity doodles. All proceeds from this art show will go to Bellwether Housing to help build affordable housing in Seattle. Amanda M Jorgenson is a Natural Science Illustrator, whose art focuses both on the familiar and elusive flora and fauna found in the Pacific Northwest. Amanda's earliest art education took place in an Inupiaq village called Brevig Mission in Northwest Alaska. There she was educated by Inupiaq carvers, painters and drawers who told her the stories behind every element of our natural world – and their influence on the Inupiaq culture - which would find their way into the artistic renderings. Close proximity to creatures and nature provided Amanda with background knowledge in the natural sciences, knowing Native artists provided an example on storytelling through visual art, which she has followed over the years.
